  • Explicit knowledge is that knowledge which can be formalized easily and as a consequence is easily available across the organization.
  • Explicit knowledge is articulated, and represented as spoken words, written material and complied data.

  • Tacit knowledge hasn't captured by the organization or made available to others.
  • Tacit knowledge is unarticulated and represented as experience, thinking, competence etc.
